The 6 open-source AI drops from this week, with the real links, what each one does, and how to try it today. Grab what's useful, skip what isn't.
1. Qwen 3 (Alibaba)
An open family of models from 30B up to 235B, multimodal, and the smaller ones run fully local and private. Developers are calling the top model Opus-4 level.
What to do: run a small one locally (Ollama / LM Studio) for private chat + vision.

2. /clone-website (open-source Claude skill)
Point it at any URL, run /clone-website, and it drives Chrome to pull the real fonts, colors, and layout, then rebuilds the whole site in parallel. One prompt.
What to do: clone a landing page you like as a starting template.

3. GLM 4.6 (Zhipu)
Open-weight coding model. Coding performance jumped ~50% over 4.5 and it ranks among the top open models on Terminal-Bench.
What to do: wire it into your coding agent as a cheaper open alternative.

4. Grok Bots (xAI)
Each bot gets its own cloud computer with a browser, files, and a terminal. It can sign into your Gmail, CRM, and other tools, runs 24/7, and bots can hand tasks to each other.
What to do: stand up one always-on bot for a repetitive inbox/CRM task.

5. Llama 4 Maverick (Meta)
Meta back in open source: a 400B mixture-of-experts model that only activates 17B at a time. Open weights, so no per-token API costs when you self-host.
What to do: try it hosted (OpenRouter / Together) before committing to self-host.

6. Watermark Remover
Strips the hidden watermarks out of Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI outputs, handling Unicode text carriers and C2PA metadata across text and images.
What to do: clean provenance markers off your own AI outputs before publishing.

Run a business and want this wired for you? I build agentic systems that run the boring parts on autopilot. DM me BUILD and I'll show you what that looks like for your setup.
